In
the '70s, a sensational soft rock duo from Australia enthralled
millions of music fans throughout the world with its array
of heavily orchestrated, sweet ballads distinguished by
powerful vocals, beautiful harmonies and evocative melodies.
Lost In Love, All Out Of Love, Every Woman In The World
and Making Love Out Of Nothing At All, among many other
hit singles, soon became among the most recognizable tunes
of the era, ultimately setting a new standard for the
unique sound -- and act -- that would forever be known
as Air Supply. During the next three decades, Air Supply
has built a solid and undisputed reputation as great hit-makers,
selling millions of records, setting concert attendance
records and touring extensively across the globe.
It is in the live performances, however, that the group
has captivated greater audiences worldwide, establishing
a formidable fan base that has endured and remained devoted
to its music through the years.
Nowhere is Air Supply's fan support wider and more entrenched
than in the Philippines, where enthusiasts intimately
identify with its brand of sweet, sentimental songs and
do not seem to have enough of them despite the advent
of new singers with new sounds and style.
Since its successful debut concert here in the '80s, Air
Supply has consistently demonstrated its massive appeal
as crowd-drawers during the numerous times it has returned
for repeat performances in the next two decades, making
itself an all-time favorite of fans.
Air Supply is a soft rock duo composed of British guitarist
