Subic Bay Freeport Beach Resorts
While the Subic Bay Freeport has the bulk of the
areas tourism and the most hotel rooms, it has only one Beach Resort.
Many of the hotels are waterfront, such as Lighthouse
Marina, Vista
Marina and Subic Park,
but they are not on beaches. The Camayan Beach Resort is the only one
who
can make that claim. this upscale resort is owned by Ocean
Adventures, which is adjacent to the resort. Enjoy a spectacular view
of the tropical forest and picturesque bay. The views out across Subic
Bay or looking out at the South China Sea are breath taking even more
so as the sun sets over the mountains and the Bay. An enjoyable and
stress-free vacation awaits guests who stay in any of the eighty-two
rooms or three luxurious Spacious Suites. All rooms offer a comfortable
lifestyle in harmony with nature and the landscaped grounds . The rooms
are decorated in a simple elegance with a natural and local flavor. The
rooms feature two queen size beds, cable TV, air conditioning and a
ceiling fan. The beach is one of the best in the area and stretches
beyond the end of the resort. The size of the beach and it distant
location means a less crowded experience and the chance to "sneak
off"
for a romantic walk.
Subic Beach Resorts
The Town of Subic, north of Olongapo along the
National highway has a number of small beach front hotels and inns but
few real resorts. The best know Subic resort in the area is White Rock. White Rock
Water Park and Beach Resort is a 7+ hectare park like property
nestled along the shores of Subic Bay, sitting on a little cove is its
private beach. The resort offers a wide range of spa and recreational
activities as well as a range of different accommodation types. White
Rock Resort has recently gone through a image changing remodeling, the
results are the finest family beach resort in Zambales. While the
resort was always known for its private beach, swimming pools and good
rooms, the improved resort expanded offerings include a Water park,
additional dining offerings and expanded conference facilities. The
rooms have all been upgraded and new seaside rooms and villas have been
added.
Barrio Barretto Olongapo Beach Resorts
Barrio Barretto section of Olongapo provides a
number of beach resorts of different quality and price ranges. Two
resorts standout as the best value for money and are mid-price range. Johan's Beach
Resort offers 21 fully featured, quality rooms, newly built on the
beach at Subic Bay. Wake to a fresh Subic Bay morning, enjoy a hot
shower, then step out the door and feel the sand under your feet as you
gaze at the sun on the waves in the bay. It doesn't get any better.
Rooms are available to suit all needs and budgets, ranging from
dormitory style through to an air conditioned family room on the beach
with three queen size beds. Guests can opt for fan cooling or air
conditioning. Choose from among 21 clean, quiet and comfortable aircon
rooms, from single to twin, family size and dormitory accomodations.
Rooms are either with beach view or only a few steps away from the
beach. From your terrace on the second floor you have a spectacular
view across Subic Bay and the surrounding mountains. An oasis from the jostle and flurry of city life, Located directly on the shores of Subic Bay, the beach resort is a welcome break with a beach with picnic huts for hotel guests, a Water Sports Facilities (Jet Ski, Banana Boat, Kayak, etc.), gardens and a swimming pool.
By the Seas Resort is our top choice in the budget category for large families and groups. There are over 50 air-conditioned
rooms with modern facilities such as in room free wifi, cable colored television, key telephone system, refrigerator, and private bathroom with hot and cold shower. Families are very welcome with free or reduce prices for children staying in the room with parents (rate depends on room type and age). Having a large family that want to stay together is not a problem. The executive, double deluxe and suites will hold up to six people. Not enough? Vacation villa 2 is set up for 10, and Vacation villa 1, is normally also set up for ten but can be expanded to sixteen. Having a few extra cousins coming alone, okay how about a dormitory for up to 18. of course all are in air condition comfort.
The other recommended resort is Olongapo's Arizona
International Hotel and Resort. A charming, comfortable and
friendly place to spend your Subic Bay area visit. The resort, on its
own beach and swimming pool in Barrio Barretto of Olongapo, has 32
rooms. Each room is comfortably equipped with queen size bed(s), Cable
television with a DVD player, mini-bar and in-room safe. Free Wifi is
available in all the rooms and public areas. The hotel's solar hot
water system insures a more than adequate supply of hot water for your
showers. We DO NOT recommend this hotel for families. The lobby has a computer for guest use, a tour desk and a
travel agency. The resort has a daily shuttle to Angeles City.
Zambales Beach Resorts
The Zambales coast is known for great beaches. Punta De Uian
may be the largest and most luxurious resort in Luzon, Philippines,
definitely in the province of Zambales. Punta De Uian Zambales resort
is set on 19 hectares that is as exotic as a lush tropical paradise and
it is as comfortable as a gently swinging hammock. While it is
luxurious it also does have options available for those who are on a
more restricted budget but still want to experience the high life. The
resort became renown as one of the setting of the Philippine's
teledrama Marimar. The resort has a very fine beach with breath taking
views of the Capones Island group just off shore.
